Chaos-proof your family business.

When you work with family, you want to build a great company with a strong family around it. Don't let your family business decrease company value and split your family.

You do not run a family businessyou have a family business inside your company.

You do not run a family business—you have a family business inside your company.

Your family business is its own entity, and it is moving toward health or sliding toward chaos.

If the family business stays in confusion and disorder, you make the organization more vulnerable. Chaotic family businesses, like companies without cash, take a risk, hoping the next storm does not destroy too much company value or estrange the family. You have less capacity to react to the next inevitable disruption.

Youve seen it before. Low trust, poor communication, lack of clarityfamily business chaos holding the company back from what it could be and straining your family.

And trusted advisorsyour attorney, accountant, coach, and wealth managerdont have all the answers you need because they dont know what its like to work with family.

We do.

I’VE BEEN THERE TOO.

WE’VE BEEN THERE TOO.

I’VE BEEN THERE TOO.

I grew up in a successful family-owned company.

I established the companys legal office, modernized its human resources functions, and headed strategic planning. I served on the Board of Advisors and Family Council.

We grew from a regional firm to a national organization with amazing clients like BMW, Chick-fil-A, Kimberly-Clark, Southern Company and Truist.

All of this happened while balancing a family business across three generations.

With a lifetime of experience, and countless lessons from others, I founded Twenty One Clear to provide family business resources and consulting services that increase trust, communication, and clarity.

I want to see every family business build a great company with a healthy family around it.

PROCESS

Go from chaos to clear, through our proven process.

Step 1:

Introduce the family and business.

Let’s get to know each other through a one-hour introductory phone call or a half-day onsite. During these intros, we’ll get a feel for your family and company through key stakeholders, situational dynamics, and assess threats and opportunities.

Let’s get to know each other through a one-hour introductory phone call or a half-day onsite. During these intros, we’ll get a feel for your family and company through key stakeholders, situational dynamics, and assess threats and opportunities.

Step 2:

Assess the health of both.

Then we’ll coordinate assessments with the family and the company. Key owners, employees, family members, and trusted advisors drive the health of the family and company, so we’ll gain a better understanding of your unique situation through interviews and online assessments.

Privacy & Cookie Policy

Effective 17 August 2026

This explains what happens to your information when you use 21clear.com, and what the site stores on your device. The short version: this website itself collects almost nothing. Nearly everything you can do here — book a call, apply, subscribe, pay — hands you to a specialist provider who collects the information for that step. Below is exactly who, and for what.

Who we are

Twenty One Clear LLC helps family businesses take the chaos out of working together. If you have a question about this policy or about your information, use the Schedule a call link at the top of this page or reach us through Twenty One Clear on LinkedIn.

What this website collects

Nothing directly. There is no contact form, no account and no login on 21clear.com. The only thing the site itself gathers is the analytics described further down.

Where your information actually goes

Each action on this site passes you to a provider who collects the information for that step. Each has its own privacy policy, and that policy governs what happens next.

Booking a call

Google Calendar appointment scheduling. Your name, email address and anything you add to the booking.

Applying, or joining the waitlist

Google Forms. Whatever you enter on the form.

Booking a paid half day

Stripe. Payment and billing details. Your card details go straight to Stripe — we never see or store them.

Subscribing to the newsletter

Substack, through the sign-up form on this page. Your email address.

Listening to the podcast

Transistor, which hosts the episodes.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is no advertising on this site, and no Meta or LinkedIn tracking pixels.

How we use information

To reply to enquiries and arrange work. To deliver the work you have asked for. To send the newsletter if you subscribed. To keep the site secure and working. And to meet our legal, tax and professional obligations.

What this site stores on your device

We keep this to a minimum. Everything currently set is listed here.

Framer platform cookies

Strictly necessary. Set by our website host so pages load and the site stays secure. These cannot be switched off.

tocConsent (local storage)

Strictly necessary. Remembers the cookie choice you made so you are not asked again. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.

_ga, _ga_50DPKMM5XY

Analytics. Google Analytics 4, property G-50DPKMM5XY. Tells returning visits apart and groups page views into sessions. Up to two years. On by default, and off the moment you decline or send a GPC signal.

The newsletter sign-up

The sign-up form on this page is embedded from Substack at 21clear.substack.com. Because that sits on Substack’s own domain rather than ours, the cookies it sets belong to Substack and not to this site — but loading it does tell Substack you were here.

It is not blocked by the preferences panel, because it sets nothing on this site. If you would rather it never loaded, you can block third-party frames in your browser and subscribe directly on Substack instead.

Links that take you elsewhere

Booking a call, applying and paying open pages run by Google and Stripe. Those are separate websites with their own cookies and their own policies, and the choices you make here do not control them.

Your choices

Use the Your Privacy Choices link at the foot of this page to turn analytics on or off. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we honour it automatically, switch the optional things off, and lock them so nothing can turn them back on.

Your browser can also block or delete cookies for any site and clear what is already stored. Blocking everything here may stop the newsletter form working; the rest of the site will be unaffected.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to know what personal information is held about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, Virginia and a growing number of other states have these rights under their state privacy laws. We will not treat you differently for exercising them.

Because most of your information sits with the provider that collected it, a request about a booking, an application, a payment or a newsletter subscription is usually quickest sent to Google, Stripe or Substack directly. Ask us and we will point you to the right place.

How long information is kept

Anything you submit through a provider is kept under that provider’s retention rules. Correspondence with us is kept for as long as we have a working relationship, and for as long afterwards as legal and tax rules require.

Security

We use established providers and keep access to information limited to those who need it. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.

Children

This site is intended for adults acting in a professional capacity. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the effective date shown at the top and explain anything material here.
